So after like 23 days here it is New look 6144

My quilt. My quilt my awesome quilt! Loosely based upon a quilt in a day pattern.

This week saw the completion of my Deer and Doe Shorts Chataigne. Needless to say I'll be making these again and hopefully in some lovely summery cottons for my holidays!

Oh, and because I had some spare fabric...

I found the pattern really easy to follow and gave a really flattering coat. I know florals aren't for everyone but I love it :-)

The first proper complicated dress that I attempted was this variation on view C of Simplicity 2253. I didnt like the shoulder detail - so didn't add it. I totally need a better picture - this one is awful!

This was my first big make so needless to say i was impressed. The zip still needs fixing. But that's a WIP!!

I just found a photo of this little guy: Rufus!

I got the template for him from Sew Mag issue 55 i think. I had the spare material from a dress I made for christmas so thought he looked cute and gave him life :-)
